Zihan Chen
Hey, I’m Zihan Chen, currently a Junior at DKU, studying Institution and Governance with a focus on Political Science. I’m originally from Wuxi, Jiangsu Province, China. Alongside my studies, I’m diving into some cool research projects related to comparative politics and international relations. In my free time, I’m all about exploring new ideas through debates and readings. Looking forward to seeing you in future SAB events!

Hi, I’m Zhengyang Ding from the class of 2026. Majored in Economics, I have a strong interest in the relation between politics and economics, as well as the way they shape the world. Hi everyone! My name is Yixuan Gao. I enjoy playing the Yangqin (a traditional Chinese musical instrument that’s related to the piano) and watching movies. I’ve also gotten into playing table tennis lately. I am a member of Alumni Talks group. I have a strong enthusiasm for bridging the gap between students and alumni, fostering dynamic and engaging relationships.

Greetings! I am Yixin Gu, a member of the class of 2027. I plan to major in cultures and movements within the sociology track, with a primary focus on gender studies and religious studies. I hope you find the upcoming SAB Talk engaging!
Yifan Matilda Wu
Heyyy Guys! I’m Matilda, a sophomore from class of 2027. I was born in Qingdao, a coastal city in the north of China, and moved to Shanghai at the age of 11. I haven’t decided my major, but it may be whether applied maths, CS or social policy under computational design. I’m a member in the SAB Alumni Stories group, where we interview Duke&DKU alumni and write about their stories. Personally I’m a great fan of intercultural communication and how are people shaped under different cultural contexts. Also I’m extremely passionate about stories, especially those of various human beings, and outlining the overall figures of them in my mind. That’s the main reason why I join the Alumni Stories team.

Hi! I’m Sijie, from the Class of 2027, and my intended major is Political Economy/Public Policy. At SAB, I’m part of the alumni story group, where I get to work in a fantastic atmosphere and have the opportunity to learn from the diverse experiences of our alumni. Beyond academics, I’m passionate about fostering connections within the community and enjoy exploring how people’s unique journeys shape their perspectives. My goal at SAB is to create engaging and meaningful alumni stories that resonate with everyone, allowing us all to appreciate the incredible paths our alumni have taken.

Nimo Yu
Hello everyone! My name is Nimo, and I am a senior at Duke Kunshan University. I currently serve as the treasurer and leader of the Alumni Story group at SAB. I am excited to help bridge the gap between students and alumni within the DKU community. Outside of my work, I enjoy attending open PE classes, spending time with friends, and trying out new places to eat. Looking forward to meeting and working with you all soon!
